This lesson examines Kant’s view of the sensibility and the understanding (the two basic faculties for knowing). Topics include Kant’s view of space and time as the a priori forms of perception, the categories as the a priori concepts required for coherent experience, and similarities and differences between Kant and Ayn Rand on the points discussed.
