Israel is talked about so often in the media but many American’s don’t understand why we are so preoccupied with this little country on the other side of the planet.
Often Israel is spoken of in a negative context: boycotts at universities, United Nations votes to condemn Israel’s actions, etc. What makes Israel so much worse than other countries that are generally considered bad? On the flipside, good defenses of Israel are hard to come by. Is Israel important to U.S. foreign policy and if so, why?
