In this lesson, Leonard Peikoff contrasts his presentation of man’s nature in chapter 6 of OPAR with the one given in his 1976 course on Objectivism, explaining why many aspects had to be rearranged to create a superior hierarchical structure. Peikoff covers such topics as the goal-directed nature of living organisms, the conditional nature of life, and reason as man’s basic means of survival.
