In this lecture, Leonard Peikoff examines major shifts in established modes of integration over the course of Western history. Using two major modal changes—ancient Greece and its collapse and the Enlightenment and its collapse—Peikoff examines the factors that triggered the culture to reject one mode of integration for another.
