Instructor Bio

Alex Silverman is an instructor and visiting fellow at the Ayn Rand Institute. He earned his PhD in philosophy from Yale University in 2014, writing a dissertation on Benedict de Spinoza. He has taught broadly in the history of philosophy and has published on Spinoza in various academic journals. He is a graduate of the Objectivist Academic Center.
